Boat Rental

We are going to be staying at the Fort for the very first time in August with my parents, DH and our two teens (oops, DS is 20 now lol)

Anyway, I digress... My Dad watched Disney on a Dime last Friday and is insisting I find out how much the boat rentals are. Since it is his birthday trip, I guess I can dedicate a day to boating...

Can anyone lead me in the right direction to find out? Or even better does anyone know how much they are?

Thats the "kids only" fishing excursion.....Ive heard its great, but its KIDS ONLY!!! The only details about how good it is come from KIDS, so the descriptions go a little something like this..."Mom, it was AWESOME, I caught this one fish and it was....when are we going to Magic Kingdom??? Can I sit by myself on the bus this time?"
Darn kids and their short attention spans!!!!

just an FYI but DH was reading the mickey monitor yesterday and reminded me that AP get a 10% discount on marina rentals.

Also if you are a AAA member, you will receive a discount. I don't remember exactly how much...probably 10 percent.
We rented pontoon boat and enjoyed it very much.

Auntie, you are correct it is 10% off for AAA.

When we rented our pontoon boat recently, the cast members both down at the dock and up at the boat window were pretty laid back. I was out almost 60 minutes and the dock guy wrote down 47. It was very pleasant. We cruised out by the Contemp, through the channel to 7 Seas Lagoon, close to the MK entrance, by the GF, Poly, and back. It was a fun time and satisfied my desire to boat for a while. That way I won't be tempted to buy one!

That's so funny!...because I was going to post that..then figured..nawhh...don't burst anyones bubble. I'm glad to see that you posted it yourself. We had a motor boat for a number of years. That's EXACTLY what it was. The novelty of the boat wore off after the second season..and then it was really just a money pit..at least for us. Maybe it's different if you live on a lake. We were dealing with salt water..and trailering it..then a slip at a marina. It went on and on. It always needed some type of maintance..and it never ended. Now..when we want to use a boat..we rent one. You're right..we hand the keys back..and WALK AWAY!. MUCH more enjoyable.
