Hello everyone,

I know there "was" a boat ramp at the Treehouses - but I'm curious if it's still open? If so, is it used year-round, or only during "peak" seasons?

TIA!!!!

can't find a map on Treehouses to even see if there is a boat dock.

if there is it would be use all year - but just to DD and back.

for boat rental you need to go to SSR or OKW

Hello everyone,

You can't launch any personal boats on WDW waterways.

The Boat Dock is in the south end of the THV and boats travel regularly to DTD. It's a nice trip -- docks closer to West End, than Marketplace.

Thanks everyone... I have seen pictures of it on the Internet but, for some reason, I was thinking they had closed it - and you were forced to pick up the boat over at SSR.

Good to hear - thanks!

There is no "boat ramp" at THV or anywhere else.
A "boat ramp" is where you can lauch your own watercraft onto a waterway.
There IS a dock at THV that the ferry services transport to DTD however if that is what you're wondering about.

the boat dock is located betwen villas 7022 and 7021/7020. We were in 7023 at Christmas and you could see the boats come and go (watching from the master bedroom). Actually quite convienient when you wanted to catch the boat! Yes it was the same SSR boat that travelled back and forth to the Carriage House and DTD.
