At Epcot it is at International Gateway in World Showcase between the UK and France. It then docks near MGM so if looking at MGM and TOT from the parking lot it is to the right rather than left towards the MGM entrance.
DTD is far left hand side of the Marketplace almost at the Rainforest Cafe.
Thanks Claire. We ate at the Rainforest & did'nt see it but did'nt know about it then, so wasn't looking. We always got the Disney bus to MGM, so never went to parking lot. Is it far from the park entrance?
The Friendship boats that go between Epcot and MGM also stop off at the Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club and Swan/Dolphin before arriving at MGM, so it can be a slow journey - but a nice one if you aren't in a rush
As Claire says, the Downtown Disney boat dock is behind Pooh Corner / Rainforest Cafe in the Marketplace near Cap'n Jack's Restaurant.
If it's not too hot and you are feeling fit you can walk to MGM from Epcot
The MGM boat dock is about the same distance from the entrance as the bus stops - but the other side. As you leave MGM turn left and not right.
If it's very hot, you may not want to do it - the boards on the Boardwalk get very hot and they hurt my feet if I'm on them too much during the midday (if it's like 90 degrees out). I normally only walk if it's morning, late afternoon/evening or when it's not burning hot outside.
The boat won't be too much different in time. It's a pretty walk, I've done it hundreds of times.
Thank you! (I love the word "brilliant", I use it myself too after hearing it in London - and on The Office).
If you are up for it, the walk is beautiful. If not, the boat is very nice as well. I do love the Boardwalk very much, I used to live 10 minutes from there and spent a few evenings a week walking it for 2 - 3 hours each time (it helped me lose 80 pounds!)
