Boat Launches from Downtown Disney to Pleasure Island

Hi:

Does anyone have information about the boat launches from Downtown Disney to Pleasure Island? Are they in service? Where are they located?
My sisters and I have difficulty walking so any transportation that will get us from the Marketplace to Pleasure Island would be great.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the boats goes back and forth from the Marketplace to the West Side. Pleasure Island is in the middle of the two and you have to walk to it from either side.

As of early January there were 3 stops - 1 at Pleasure Island, One at Marketplace and one at WestSide near DQ.

Of course we learned this AFTER we walked from MarketPlace to DQ

The boat Captain told us the PI stop was fairly new.

Near the Rainforest Cafe. Can't give specific directions (I'm very directional impaired) but I could show you.....

Right behind Captain Jacks, the entrance to the launch is near RainForest Cafe.

The PI stop opened about two months ago and is located where the Hub Stage used to be, adjacent the building that used to (and eventually will again) hold a fast food restaurant and shops.
