Boat from VWL to MK

We are getting really excited about our trip to VWL in May- especially for the easy access to MK. Just wondering how it will work out if we go to MK in the morning and DD (nearly 2) falls asleep in the stroller after lunch and we want to return to VWL.

Can anyone tell me if you can roll a stroller right on to the boats (like the boat to MGM and Epcot from BCV)? Or does the infant need to come out and the stroller must be folded (as on buses)?

How long would you normally allow to get to MK first thing in the morning on this boat?

Anyone got any pictures of the boat?

The boats are generally roll ons for strollers although I think they sometimes use smaller boats during the slow times of the day and I cannot remember whether those are also roll ons. The trip over to MK takes about 20 minutes but add 15 to wait for a boat. Note that WL/VWL now also has a bus that goes directly to MK.

I've had both situations. The larger boats you do not have to fold them up, but with the smaller boats they will ask you to fold them up. I guess you'll have to be prepared either way. Have a great trip! The Lodge is our favorite!

I'd allow 30-40 minutes in the morning to get where you want to go on time.

Thanks everyone for the great information and pictures. DD is going to love getting on the boat! And the train at MK. And the aeroplane to get to Florida. And the buses and the monorail............Is it all kids that love transport or just mine?
