No need. It is only a short 5 minute walk along a relaxing pathway from one resort to the other.

Is there a boat that goes from the Poly to the GF?

There are launches that go from MK>GF>Polynesian...fun and relaxing. The walk would be quicker and is very pleasant as wedhead said but I could never walk it in 5 minutes. Around 12-15 would be my estimate from GCH to GF main building. The resort monorail is fastest of all as GF is the next stop after the Polynesian.
