Boat from MGM to Epcot?

The transportation wizard I use shows that you can take a boat from MGM to Epcot (37 mins), is this a direct route - is this in fact true?

That boat route serves the Epcot Resorts. It runs MGM to Swan/Dolphin to Yacht/Beach Clubs to BoardWalk to Epcot and then reverse that for return trip to MGM. Thirty-seven minutes is about accurate for entire trip. Note, you can also walk from MGM to Epcot (via past BoardWalk) and that takes about 30 minutes.

Depending on what time of the day you do this, the Friendship boat may be more airconditioned and frankly, a better way to just get off your feet!
