Boat from Epcot to Beaches and Cream

Are they currently operating? and which way do I go after getting off the boat?

The Friendship should be running from the EPCOT station. You can take the boat to the B&Y Club dock/marina. From there you would go to the main walkway and head right towards the pool. I'm sure a cast member could give you more specific directions when you're there closer - but B&C is in the main BC building, overlooking the pool.

To be honest, it's probably just as easy to walk from the International Gateway to B&C. Until you wait for a boat and get off, you could make the 5-10 minute walk.

I agree that it would be easier and quicker to walk.

If I remember correctly, the boat goes from Epcot to Boardwalk first, then across to Beach/Yacht Club. The main walkway leads directly to Beach Club -- you can't miss it.

Jim is correct as to the boat route getting to YC/BC, so walking will be quicker even if the boat is waiting at the Epcot loading dock. Also, the walk from the Epcot International Gateway to B&C might be only a couple of hundred yards further than the walk from the boat dock to B&C. The boat docks at the YC marina out on the pier by the small replica lighthouse.

Beach Club (where Beaches & Cream is located) is close to Epcot. Walking is the best way to get there.

Here's the comparison:

IG to Beach Club main building -- 0.3 miles, 6 minute walk.


Beach Club dock to main building -- 0.2 miles, 4 minute walk

Keep in mind that this timing does not include walking time from the actual Gateway to the dock, waiting/loading the boat at Epcot, boating time to Boardwalk, unloading/loading time at Boardwalk, or boating time from Boardwalk to Beach Club dock and unloading.

This is just a guess, but I'd estimate taking the Friendship boat would take at least 30 minutes. It's a fun thing to do if you haven't done it before, but certainly NOT a quick option.

They are and you'd get off at Yacht/Beach Club and go right. Having said that it's waaaayyyyy faster to just walk. Beach Club is the closest resort to Epcot.

I’m gonna give you different directions than others have if you decide to take the boat. Walk up the boat dock to the yacht club. Don’t go into the building, but take the walkway on the right, which goes right in front of & along the building. Just keep going & you will walk right up to Beaches & Cream. Do not go along the walk way in front of the pool or you will have to go all the way back to the beach club lobby which will end up taking you past B & C. If you’re not staying at Y & B you can’t cut thru the pool, so you’ll have to all the way back to the Beach Club lobby & backtrack to B & C.


Also, B & C is not actually in the Beach Club. It is in a shared walkway between Y & B. I’ve stayed at YC probably 30 times over 25 years. Trust me, walkway directly in front of YC, you’ll walk directly up to B & C.
