How late do the boats run between DTD and OKW in the evening.

Also, is there only a stop at DTD or another at Westside as well?

Thinking about taking the boat after the cinema.

There is only 1 boats top near the Marketplace at DTD. Be prepared for long lines as the boats don't hold a ton of people. We tried to take the boat from POR to DTD one evening last week and would have ended up waiting for 2-3 boats because the line was so long..... we took the bus instead and got to DTD rather quickly...

The boat to OKW leaves from the Pleasure Island dock, near the Paradiso restaurant. There is a dock at the West Side, but that's only for the DTD water taxi, which travels between the 3 DTD docks (Marketplace is the 3rd dock.) If you don't mind waiting twice, you could ride the water taxi from West Side to PI, and then board the OKW boat.

The last boat should leave the PI dock at about 11:30. If you miss it or there's no room for you on it, the buses from PI to OKW run until 2 a.m.

Which would be faster, the boat or bus?

We are going to see La Nouba at 6:00. Show should end at about 7:30. We have ADR's at Olivia's at OKW at 8:45. Would you take the boat or the bus? Thanks!

The bus is probably faster. But, if the weather is even decent, the boat is a lot nicer. Also, you are welcome to bring your BEvERage along with you on the boat---I consider this a strong positive. :)

I haven't ever experienced long waits for the OKW/DTD boat---possibly because OKW has fewer guests than PO does.

The buses can be QUITE slower at busy park times.

Many of the buses at DTD during park opening/park closing are "dead-heads" or buses that have a few spare minutes and are dispatched over to DTD to take resort guests, if there are enough people waiting at a stop for a specific resort.

The water taxis run about every 10 - 15 minutes after 4:00 pm, so they can tend to be faster - and it is a wonderful ride.

I do it on my last day every year. Having breakfast at Olivia's and then shopping at DTD, heading over to the Turf Club for lunch and then back to POR to take the ME bus home. The ride to OKW is wonderfully leisurely.

The other thing is if it gets windy they shut down the boats. We were forced to take a bus back to OKW last time we went to DTD via boat. My first Disney bus trip in about 5 years (and hopefully the last).
