Boat Excursion

We are planning on going over to Clearwater, or St. Petes or around in there
and we are trying to find a good place to take a dolphin watching tour or a
sea shelling trip. Does anyone know of a good boating place to go through that is decently priced? I found one for 30 dollars an adult and 20 dollars a
child for a 4 hr. trip, but when I called about it the man was not very friendly
and just gave me kind of a bad impression so I think I would rather try some
other place. Any suggestions would be helpful.

if you want to go shelling and relax check out caladesi island and anclote key. there are ferries or private boats that will take you out to them. captain memo's pirate cruises is a family cruise on a pirate boat out of clearwater marina. there are a number of dolphin excursions, even the florida aquarium has one. which one did you call?

I called from a website called captainsnow. Maybe he was just having a bad day or
whatever but he wasn't very friendly on the phone. Is the Captain Memo cruise good?
I have 2 boys age 4 and 7 would they really like it?

I've never been on it because I have the best thing in the world...friends with boats. I've seen it sail many times and talked to the owner. it's hard to miss a big pirate ship docked in clearwater marina. they take you out for a couple of hours, the crew is decked out in pirate gear. they have pirate gun fights on the boat for kids, face painting, lots of activities. I've heard good things. any size boat doing a decent speed in the gulf is going to attract dolphins. they'll play in the wake, or you can spot them hunting. I'm sure if you google captain memo, you'll find something.
