Can anyone point me to a link or tell me if you can use an ECV on the boat service between Epcot and DHS. Thanks

Yes you can!!

However, it's just easier to drive the ECV between the two. If you have walkers in your party that don't want to make the trek, they can take the boat. The ECV will beat them every time!!

This made me laugh. The ECV driver will be my mother (68 with MS) and the walkers will be me and my dad (72). No telling what kind of mischief my mother can get in if we send her off alone. If my dad isn't too tired we will all probably walk.

I actually like taking my powerchair on the boat - it is one of the few times we are all sitting at the same level (otherwise the tall walkers are much taller than me in my chair) and we can sit and chat. Otherwise it seems like we are always going, going going!

Thank you so much for this perspective. I am not used to my mother being seated and had not thought of that. My mother usually uses a walker that also has a little seat in it and not an ECV. When she told me she wanted to go to Disney, I made her promise to rent an ECV. Physically, she would never be able to put in the miles at Disney with her walker. If you have any other suggestions about getting around in an ECV I would love to hear them.

I'd suggest you follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread ( or look near the top of the thread list for this board).
You will find a lot of useful information, including pictures if the Friendship Boats between Epcot and the Studio.
As was pointed out, there is also a walking path. Either is pleasant.
