Boardwalk ?

Hi. We are planning on going to ESPN to eat lunch while we are in Epcot. What is the easiest way to get there? I know there is a exit to the boardwalk in epcot, but how far a walk would it be to ESPN? Would it be easier to exit Epcot and take a bus to the boardwalk resort?l

Use the international gateway from Epcot and take the boat to the boardwalk. You could walk but it would take a while and the boat ride is nice, takes about 15 minutes

Just head for EPCOT's Internatioinal Gateway entrance. It's between France and Great Britain in the World Showcase. (The IG is easy to spot on the EPCOT park guide map).

It's a 5-10 minutewalk from the IG to the ESPN restaurant. If you'd rather, you can take a boat from the IG to the Boardwalk - but it's faster to walk.

A very easy walk..just be sure to go left when you get to the bridge...otherwise you'll go past BC, then YC, then Swan/Dolphin and then finally BW!!! When you go over the bridge (that goes over the canal) you will walk for about 1-2 minutes (if that long) and ESPN will be the first bldg on your left!!

If you were to take the boat from the Epcot Inernational Gateway to the Boardwalk Inn you would actually be going beyond the ESPN club and would then have to walk back towards Epcot. Much easier and faster to take the 5-10 minute walk as the previous posters said. FYI the Friendship boats travel from the Epcot IG to the Disney Studios all day. They stop along the way at the Beach/Yacht clubs, Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin. Slow but a nice relaxing ride.

I agree with the above posters, head out the IG between France and UK and walk or take the boat, we love the walk!

Just wanted to mention that bus transportation isn't available from Epcot to the Epcot resorts so walking or bat is your only option.

BTW, there are no busses from Epcot to the "epcot resorts." Its either boat or walk from the WS.
