If you have three kids do you have to stay in a 1 bedroom at boardwalk or can you stay in a studio or a 2 bedroom?

It looks like one of your kids is a newborn in a pack-n-play, so you'll be able to stay in a studio, 1 BR, or 2 BR unit.

With the baby you'll want the convenience of the 1-2BR, having a full size fridge and the W/D.

The disadvanatage--and it's BIG, is that there's no regular tub. The bathroom has a large soaking tub as well as a free standing shower.

The newborn can go into the kitchen sink--they make a great little foam thing to put on the bottom of the sink that dries fast and packs in no space. The question is, are the other two used to taking showers? The tub is deep and it would be very hard to bathe them in it.

In the studio the bathroom will have a regular tub/shower combo, and in the 2BR the second bathroom has one as well.

allears.net has pictures of all the rooms if you look around there. They may help you decide.

We always stay in a 1 bedroom at BWV. DH and DDs 3 1/2. I have acutally always gotten in the big tub with them and it works out fine. You could do that with your baby and the older kids should be fine, just don't fill the tub too much. It is acutally like having a small kiddie pool in your room. We love it!

That said, if you do opt to save about $100 a night and take the studio make sure you get one on the villas side (not inn). The villas have a microwave and fridge in the rooms. Very nice with kids.

Good luck - we love this hotel and have sayed there for the past 7 years. You can't beat it for walking to Epcot or MGM (or take the boat).

At the BWV:

Both the studio and one bedroom sleep four plus one under the age of three. The studio at BWV has one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa. The one bedroom has one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa. These resorts will not provide rollaways or cots.

The two bedroom villa sleeps eight plus one under the age of three with one king bed, one queen bed, one queen sleeper sofa and one double sleeper sofa.

Not sure about the BWI, but they don't have villas there.

Im thinking in the future.. when the baby is 3.. will I have to get a 2 bedroom unit.. through DVC? I rented points last year and stayed in a studio which was great.. i wasnt sure which route we would have to take when she was older..

Yes, once the baby is three you'll have to get a 2BR. You could stay at the Inn in a single room with one child on the daybed.

Currently DVC Member Services is accepting reservations for 5 in a 1 bedroom on DVC points (not studios). CRO does not allow this.
