Boardwalk

I am an OKW owner. My son is having leg surgery in late May and should be recovered by late August. I was looking for a resort with a nice pool in case we can't go to the parks very much. So I booked the Boardwalk. Thoughts? I have only stayed at OKW.

Tell them about the leg surgery when you book the reservation and ask for something near the elevator. I love the Boardwalk, but I swear, the hallway is over a mile long!!!

For easy access to the pool, boardwalk, and friendship boat to Epcot/MGM, ask for a first floor room. Hope you have fun!

My son had complications due to Fx foot, surgeon recommended a transport chair in the parks. Even though his cast had been removed a few weeks prior.

I was so glad we did bring one, despite his overwhelming protests. He never would have made it. I'd ask his doctor as to advice, mentioning the miles of walking everyday.

We had good luck @ WL with the friendship boats. Would think BW would be another great choice.
