boardwalk

Spoodles and Flying Fish both are also on the Boardwalk. Beaches and Cream is over at the Beach Club across the lake from the Boardwalk, and I know there are a few places to eat in the other Hotels across the Lake, all which are in walking distance. If you are looking for a Resturant on the higher end, Shula's steak house is in the Dolphin and it is Great. Again there are 4 other Hotels across the lake and everything is minutes apart.

Thanks will be our first time staying there we stayed at okw with family once and our other three trips have been at ssr. Im really excited about staying there but a little unsure of how to plan.

There is also the Big River Brewery at Boardwalk and lots of places at Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club and Beach Club, all of which are within a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Boardwalk.

By the way, you mentioned ESPN Club - some like it and it is a good place to watch sports, but I say avoid it like the plague - the food there is not good.

Don't forget about EPCOT. As long as your tickets are the park hopper option you can do dinner at EPCOT a couple of nights. Although I've never been to Le'Cellier, it seems to be a board favorite around here. I do plan on trying it next trip.

Everyone has listed dining spots around or near the Boardwalk so I just wanted to add that you will LOVE it there. The location can't be beat. Just our opinions but we've eaten at ESPN Club numerous times and enjoy the food. Different strokes for different folks though. Have fun!

CoolDisneyCat, thank you for the map- i have been looking for this!! We stay at the Beach Club in 4 days!!!!!!

Anyone know how I can print this out? The map that is- I am having trouble getting it to print the whole map????

larklynn,

I will also recommend espn for their food. We stay at the BC and eat at espn 2-3 times per trip. It's not fancy food, but what you would expect from a sports bar. They have the best chicken wings, the biggest I have ever seen. They must come off of one mean chicken. :rotfl2:

ROFL about your mean chicken comment. My friend's dh LOVES his wings and there are very few places that meet his standards but ESPN Club is one of them. He said their wings are double the size of what you get other places. He even got my dh and kids addicted to them when we were there last month. I shudder to think of how many buckets got ordered over an 8 day stay. I had one of the best, tastiest burgers there and we've tried other things and enjoyed them as well. O.K. I'm officially hungry now. ::yes::

Thanks for all the informatioin Im going to print the map out now. I have not decided what else I may plan other then dining. We are going to the pp party while we are there but always looking for more suggestions.

sorry about the double post. Espn club is one of the few placed by the bw that we have tried. dh loves it their and is excited that it is within walking distance! We have just gotten so used to being by downtown Disney that it is going to take me awhile to get a new mindset. So many of the places sound wounderful. We tried LeCeirre sorry abou sp. last trip and loved it. Does anyone know anything about shula's, flying fish, or the sit down morracan restraunt.

Hi!
My DH and I have dined at Shula's for our anniverary the past two years.
We have really enjoyed our meals. Shula's is comparable to Ruth's Chris Steak House. It's a must do for my DH each trip as well as ESPN!!!
Happy dining!

We always stayed at OKW until our first trip to the Beach Club. I don't know if I could ever stay anywhere else again. When you are at the Boardwalk area, you are in your own little Disney world. From all of the restaurants, to the Boardwalk activities and your own gate to Epcot, this is the best Disney has. It will take you about 10 minutes to get used to it. :cool1:

I hope you have a great time. :thumbsup2
