Which one would you pick and why?

I'm planning a trip for July 05 and originally I wanted to stay at the Polynesian. But now I'm not sure WHERE I want to stay. I'd stay at the Wilderness Lodge again but I just felt that the rooms were on the small side and I will have a 3 year old and 1 year old with me.

So which Epcot resort would you pick? Would you consider the Contemporary? We've stayed at the GF and Polynesian and I love being on the monorail, but I also love the Epcot area and have never stayed over there.

We're also considering a villa, probably SS or OKW. Although I'd love VWL but I think it will be hard to get a 2 bedroom without renting points.

Anyway, just starting my research...thanks!

I say since you have never been, try an Epcot resort. This is our favorite area to stay. Water taxis to MGM or Epcot, or a relaxing walk -- (a longer walk to MGM.) While YC/BC gets high marks for its SAB pool, your kids are very young yet, so choosing a water park-type pool shouldn't be a concern. My vote will be for the Boardwalk Inn -- our personal favorite for its big beautiful rooms, top notch CM's and its Luna Park pool with the keister coaster slide. Lots of great restaurants right on the boardwalk, including ESPN, my DH and DS personal favorite. Even though we love to try new resorts, we always end up wishing we had stayed a few days at the Boardwalk. It just feels like home when we walk in. ::yes::

We are splitting our stay this time, trying the WL for the first time this summer, followed by a trip back to our favorite.

We have been to disney for years- once we stayed at epcot resorts we do not want to stay anywhere else- the convenience of walking to epcot at night/ strolling to boardwalk/ walking or boating to MGM is great! This year we are planning on staying at beach club again! We loved it last year- we also stayed at boardwalk villas a few years back in a 1 bdrm which was an unbelievable rate- will probably never get that rate again-
Both resorts are great, but my daughter (now 5) loved the "sandy pool" as she called it and we could relax by the pool while she swam in the 2ft area with lifeguards and sand to dig in- was the most relaxing time I ever had at a pool with her...
I would stay at Beach club if you could- very relaxing, big rooms, great service, and a great resort!
