Boardwalk without PS

I called to make PS for Big River Grill but was told by the CM that the only BW restaurants that have PS are Flying Fish and Spoodles. We are planning BW for one evening, but don't want to be locked into a time if we don't have to. Is there usually a long wait for a table for 4 at Big River Grill or ESPN between 5:30 -7 p.m. mid-week?

We stayed at BWI in Feb. and on weeknights the wait for ESPN was either non-exisitant or very short. Some of it depends on what is happening in the resturant on a given night. The night we were there they were doing a live interview with some professional football player so the place was packed when we arrived. But as soon as the interview ended the place cleared out. I don't know about BRG as we didn't eat there.

Not usually any long wait at Big River (weekdays or weekends). ESPN can have long lines for non-smoking section but walk-in if you don't mind smoking section.

Just got back and was surprised at the wait for ESPN. They said they were being included in more of the convention activities.

We just came back on 8/24. We ended up eating at Flying Fish and made PS the morning we decided to go w/o a problem. The Big River Grille was under construction (in the front w/scaffolding) when we were there. ESPN usually did not have a wait, and when it did, the wait time was very short (5-10 mins.). Don't know too much about Spoodles other than the walk up window. Love all the restaurants except for Spoodles cardboard pizza.

You should be fine at either BRG or ESPN on the day/time you suggest...especially near 5:30-6:00 which is when we usually eat dinner.
Only FF would might present some problems w/o a PS
