We have 11 rooms coming into the the BWV in September. While they are noted to be "traveling together", I know that doesn't mean we will be near each other necessarily - and that's fine. My biggest concern is to avoid the luggage rack area for our standard view rooms and I believe those rooms are considered "near the elevator". Now that we are starting to check in online, my choices seem to be the following...near the elevator/near the lobby (same thing, no?)/upper floor/lower floor/ground floor/pool view. I was wondering if there is something I could pick that would help get us closer to the parking lot and far away from the luggage handling area. Since I have your attention, some of our group also have Boardwalk view rooms. Any suggestions on what to request there? Are there bad areas there. We had to learn about the luggage loading area on the standard view the hard way. Thanks all! pixiedust:

The lobby is on the second floor, so near the elevator on other floors would not be near the lobby.

For standard view, I always request top floor, across from the bus stop. Gets you away from the lobby and you might be able to see some of the Epcot fireworks. You would have to call or e-mail member services with this request, not online check-in.

For boardwalk view, I always request top floor. Some of the boardwalk view are a long distance from the elevator so if someone has walking issues, you may want to request close to elevator.
