Boardwalk Villas- room request???

Hello. We are booking BWV next week. What should I request to get the best room. I guess for us the best room would be closest to the elevators and bus stops since we will be traveling with 2 little ones.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

When i have stayed there the past two times we actually got the same room haha pretty cool. We were right by the elevators and didn't hear a thing so totally go for that. The location is great, I think we were on the 5th floor in the main building. Have fun

Through DVC points or CRO? DVC reservations are split into 3 views: standard, preferred pool/garden, boardwalk. CRO is usually assigned pool/garden.

we went with garden view as close to the elevators as possible since we have two little girls!

Do you have a stroller? I would request first floor. That way you don't need an elevator and you can use both the boardwalk exit and the bus stop exit without worrying about an elevator. If you are on the second floor or above with a stroller, you would have to back track to get to the elevators to get to the bus stop.

If you can't get standard (might be difficult at 7 months), for pool/garden I would request Village Green view (studios only), those have a partial boardwalk view and are close to the elevator.

Of the two request closer to the elevator since there is only one bus stop and you have to go out the main entrance of the BW to get there.

There is an exit at the end near the pond, right across from the bus stop. You don't have to go to the main entrance if you are in the standard view section. If you are not on the first floor, you would have to use steps to get to this exit.

I know about the stairs and other exits, we use them all the time but the op said she has little ones and lugging a stroller and small kids up and down stairs isn't really convenient so to me closer to the elevator would make more sense.

You said you are booking BWV next week using points. I doubt if you will get a standard studio. You're booking during Food & Wine and those views go very quickly. You'll be lucky to get a preferred studio (garden/pool view). Even that might be tough.

That's why I suggested first floor if they have a stroller. I would put that request ahead of near the elevator.

I agree with Deb, the odds are slim that they will get a standard view studio for October.
