Boardwalk Villas-Refurb?

So I was just reading about the Boardwalk Villas being refurbed between now and January-we are staying there for three nights after our DVC cruise in September-is it worth it or should we stay at another resort? Will there be lots of construction? Wer'e staying at our home resort Kidani prior to the cruise....Also, we're on the waitlist for boardwalk view for one night, but we have it for the other 2.
Any opinions?

Disney does a great job when they rehab a property. They usually close off portions of a building and do the rehab in that section only. I would say there may be some inconvenience during your stay such as scaffolding and some noise, but it would not stop me from staying there. Boardwalk has so much to offer, you will enjoy your stay anyway.
