We are going in 10 days-yeah  and we paid for a preferred view 2 bedroom villa. We are going with both moms, 71 and 77, healthy, but limited mobility. Any suggestions on requests for a room? We prefer a waterview and quiet near the elevators. Thanks in advance! :earseek: :cold:

At BWV, limited mobility= near the elevators. Those hallways are really long, especially at the end of the day.

the closer to the top floor the better. i didn't find the hallways that long and loved every minute of my stay there.

I agree with another poster, request a room close to the elevators as the hallways are quite long! Enjoy your trip!

If you didn't find the hallways that long you must have been close to the elevator! :-) Maybe it's different on the Inn side, but inn the Villas side you can have a loooooong walk to the elevators, even with a preferred view.

I would also consider getting scooter rentals for mom's. Delivered directly to the hotel and picked up there upon departure....At least for EPCOT & Studio's visit...its a lloonngg walk. ;)

We had limited-mobility parents with us in Oct. Half way down the hall probably would have been tolerable. All the way down, not. We received our "near an evelator" request, but probably sacrificed a bit on the view.

I agree, higher up is probaby better. We were on the 5th floor. 1 floor up from the Boardwalk or pool would probably be less desirable.

And, I think you'll want to be specific on "water view": "boardwalk/water view" or waterway "water view". I'm not exactly sure how that works.
