I am debating back and forth between the two. Either one will work for us when it comes to size and sleeping accomodations, but are the rooms in one nicer than the other? Any other advantages? Price is about the same. Thank you for any insight!

I have only stayed in the studio, but I loved it. Here's what I liked that was different than a regular hotel room:

Kitchen sink with sponge and soap provided to wash mugs
Counter away from the bathroom area to dry mugs and place food
Single sink in the bathroom area. That means more counter space to put makeup, brushes, etc.
Bed arrangement is perfect for our family: 2 adults, 1 boy, 1 girl: queen bed for mom & dad, pull out sofa for daughter, pull down bed for son. We did fold up the beds every morning.

We booked a standard view with cash. I requested upper floor near elevator. We were 5 doors from the elevator on the 5th floor with a view of Epcot. We watched the fireworks from Illuminations every night.

I've stayed in studios at BWV and a standard room at the Inn. I tend to like the Inn rooms more, they seem a little nicer and maybe a tad bigger since the actual room space isn't take up with the little kitchenette. When I was in the studio (have done that 3 times) the coffee pot was a Mr Coffee type pot, which meant you have to make a pot of coffee as opposed to a cup like the rooms have. I prefer to make a cup. The villa rooms are toward the HS side so the walk to HS is a little shorter from there, the Inn rooms are toward the Epcot side so that walk if shorter. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other. If you would use the microwave, the Villas might be an advantage over the Inn.

I have stayed in the BWI and BWV, but it as a 1BD villa.

The Inn side is a little farther from the Clown Pool, but it's not a bad walk.

The good thing is they are both great resorts and easy to get a round. My kids think the hallways are like the Shinning hallways.

We've stayed in the villas and the Inn multiple times and I really prefer the villa side of the resort. I've had multiple noise issues at BWI (driling in the middle of the night, banging on pipes from the restaurants on the Boardwalk when there was a water leak, etc.). We've never had any issues at BWV. Plus, if you aren't adverse to walking down stairs, you are typically very close to the path to DHS which I find convenient. You are also closer to the pool and you get a full coffee maker in the room! I also love being able to fold up the couch during the day to have more space in the room. At this point, I've given up on the Inn side and will only book rooms at BWV.

I just did one night in a BWV studio, and then 3 nights at standard BW Inn. Both were on the main floor (floor 2 where you enter) and close to lobby and elevator. (did not request this at all, asked for top floor, lol, and did not ask to be near elevator!) Both were fine, of course. Preferred the Inn side. One weird reason was the thermostat! On the Villa side it was a primitive slide type, you just had no idea what you were setting it for, you just had to move it up or down if you were hot or cold. On the Inn side, you could set a specific temperature, which I like better, especially at night.

We also like the Inn, with the 2 beds and a couch, vs, the one bed and a couch, as it was me and my daughter, not me and my husband. Pool not an issue, it was closed most of the time we were there. Which leads to another issue, when pool is closed, the ONLY place to refill the mugs is out on the BW, at the bakery. Not too bad from the Inn (but still a PITA) but quite a hike if you were way down the end on the Villa side.

If you have two people who cannot sleep together on a single queen sized bed or you have more than two people, you probably want the two real beds. The sleeper sofas in the villas are pretty uncomfortable.
