I saw some info on Allears that some of the studios at Boardwalk have a 5 foot daybed in addition to the queen bed and double sleeper sofa. I can't seem to find any points values to confirm this. Is it just that there are only a few of these available, or are they additional points? Or maybe they don't exist at all? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I do not think this is so. I do know that there are BWI rooms with 2 queen beds and a daybed, but never heard anything about a studio having them.

Some have them, but I would not call it a daybed, in the tradtional sense more like a place to sit and change shoes or put down luggage.

There is no difference in points. I actually think they are only in the dedicated studios, since not having the connecting door would give you enough wall space for the bed.

It is about the size of a crib mattress.

Here is a photo.

agree with the above poster it's pretty small.....and i'm pretty sure you can't confirm getting one when you make your reservation

We had one several years ago when our son was small. He was about 5 or 6 if I recall correctly. The deacon's bench with a thin pad on it was what was referred to as a "daybed". Nothing close to a daybed. Mattress was the size of a crib mattress. Our son hated it and refused to sleep on it. So we opened the sleeper sofa and he liked that better. I don't think it is five feet long.

These are not a request and are only gotten by the luck of the draw. They are only in the dedicated studio and are located where the door would connect to a one bedroom if it had a door.

Thanks for the feedback, and the photo. Agreed, after seeing it, there is no way my son could sleep on that! I am worried that my two boys (ages 8 and 10) won't have enough room on the full size sofa bed, but I guess the 'deacons bench' is not a solution to that problem!

We just got back from Boardwalk in two standard studios. One had the "Day bed" and one did not. Our 9 year old son used it as a bed with no compaliants.
