I would request a room close to the lobby so that you are close to everything. There are coffee makers and packets of coffee in the guest rooms. There are also small refrigerators in all the rooms.

Close to lobby is pretty good. You’ll probably get a view of the entrance which is better than parking lot and you won’t have to deal with long hallways. You’ll also be closer to laundry facilities.

Love the BW!! For a standard view room, I would ask to be close to the lobby. The BWI side the hallways can be kind of long, my kids always compare it to the Shining Hotel!

There are smaller dorm type fridges in the rooms.

We always stay at the BWV and we always request not first floor and close to the lobby.

We started our many visits to the BWI requesting an Epcot view. We were rewarded over the years with views of the Eiffel Tower, Spaceship Earth, or just in the general direction of Epcot. This gave us good views of the Illuminations fireworks. As the years went by our interest in the fireworks view waned and we shifted to just asking for courtyard view and usually got views of the interior courtyard, the small fountain, or the quiet pool. Yes, we occasionally had some long walks, especially to the room with the view of the quiet pool, but we always enjoyed our views and time spent on the balcony.

At our last visit a few years ago there was a coffee maker and a small fridge. Check the temperature setting of the fridge as most of the time when we showed up it was set fairly warm.

We always book a standard view. I requested close to the elevator/lobby and highest floor this spring. Our room faced the front entrance and we had a great view of the fireworks from Hollywood Studios.

Near lobby is the best request but the resort is so lovely any room is awesome. Coffee pots and fridges are in room and the coffee is very good. It is our fave resort - have a wonderful time!
