Boardwalk to Universal

This year, we want to go from BW to Universal for one day. We have a 2 yr old and a 4 yr. old., so we will need a car seat and booster seat for the trip. Does anyone have advice on the best way to go for this day trip? Taxi, car rental. etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

YOu can rent a car at the Dolphin - national or alamo
I would do a one day car rental. They have limited hours (8-4) - but if you got there at 8AM one morning, you could then return it at 8AM the next morning. Walking distance from the BW. Depending on when you're going - you could probably get a compact car for $50 or less. Then all you'd have to do it pay for parking at Universal.

Since I don't have any kids I can't help you with the car seat or booster requirement. But just an FYI, we just did exactly this trip (BW to US/IOA) by calling Mears. $15 pp round trip. They pick up at BW every hour starting from 7:35am and pick up at US/IOA every hour on the half hour.
