Boardwalk to Poly

We are staying at the Boardwalk and DD asked to have lunch at Capatin Cook's inside the Polynesian before heading to MNSSHP. What would be the best method to get there?

BW boat to DHS, bus to Poly
BW bus to TTC, walk to Poly (edit: 10+ stays onsite and you would think I'd know this isn't an option lol)
BW bus to MK, monorail to Poly

I'm pretty sure option 1. Option 2 would be a slightly shorter walk, but do the busses go to the TTC? The monorail ride from the MK to Poly is pretty long, and you would have an extra security check if I am remembering the layout correctly.

I'm liking #3 best. Once you get to MK, you can take a boat or the monorail to the Poly. The boat ride to DHS always seems, to me, to take forever.

ETA: I agree with Missyrose--uber/taxi/lyft/Minnie Van is really the best choice, if you don't mind spending the $.

I need 3 carseats and the Minnie vans only carry two. Uber/taxis are out for the carseat reason also.

What about in reverse? If you were ending your mk day at ohana and needed to get back to BW, how would you do it? Bus to HS, then walk/boat to BW doesn't require a security check, right?

It doesn't, but monorail to MK and bus to resort would likely be faster, unless you're leaving during the MK exit or post-fireworks rush.

What about bus from BW to MK, then ferry to TTC and walk to Poly? If you're leaving the bus depot and a ferry is pulling in, it's a much shorter walk than going all the way around to the monorail where you may have to wait for awhile (assuming the monorail isn't down, in which case a long while) anyway.
