That's what I thought. We usually stay in at least a 1-Bdrm so I had to think about it - lol! There really isn't any room in the studio for another piece of furniture. Maybe the daybeds, but that's it.
I remember it was brought up when I attended the annual meeting in Dec 2003, I thought they said they would be added. They also said they would be adding HD TV's, which I don't think happened either.

Yes, I also remember that from the annual meeting in 2003 (the coffee tables, don't remember the TVs). I remember it because I'd stayed in a studio at BWV a few days before the meeting and it bothered me not to have one (missed a coffee table to put my feet up when watching the TV and drinking coffee in the AM). It seems that if they announce at an annual meeting that they're going to do something, they might should do it. Just MHO.
Wow, they never added them? I remember the announcement from the Annual Meeting too. At the time, I was excited to hear they were putting coffee tables in. This is disappointing.
I just got back from BWV. I called to report the coffee table was missing. Since this was my first time staying there. I have stayed at BCV 4 times so I knew they have coffee tables. The front desk never said they didn't have any in the studios at BWV. I then transfered to BCV and they had coffee tables. Why doesn't BWV?

I think at BWV it is probably just a terminology issue. At OKW a table that size would be callled a coffee table, at BWV a table that size would be called a dining table !

To be more specific about my post, the front desk cm I talked to said she could not find anywhere on the form they use to report missing items from the room for a listing for a "coffee table." She said table, chair, .... She would hand write the coffee table was missing. I didn't realize BWV didn't have them or I would not have called. The cm probably had a good laugh that a guest was reporting something missinng they didn't even have.
I'll confess-I did the same thing when I was there. The first thing I did was call down that my coffee table was missing when I arrived in my room-"I don't want to be charged for it since it wasn't here when I got here." I was so embarrassed until someone else here finally confessed they'd done it too.
No coffee table when we stayed at Boardwalk...it wasn't a problem. When we felt the need for a place to put drinking glasses, etc., while watching TV, we just "borrowed" the patio table from our patio. It was lightweight and while not exactly complementing the decor, it sufficed nicely. (Or is that a no-no?)
