Hello

I know someone who is going to be staying at the Boardwalk studio room. They want to know if the matress comes off the deacon bench. Does anyone know the answer? Thanks in advance for your help! :thumbsup2

Hope that person knows that only the dedicated studios have the deacon bench. You can request (but not book) a dedicated studio. There is no way to guarantee getting one - there are a lot of lock off studios at the BWV.

Sorry, I do not remember for sure if the (very thin) mattress comes off the bench, although I think it does.

interesting info. We too are staying in a BWV studio in April. We booked BW view and requested a dedicated studio. Is the bench longer than 4 feet?

If it is, it's only an inch or two. IMO, it's really not suitable for a bed -it's narrow in addition to being short. It might be OK for a small child, but I'd worry he or she would roll off.

We used it to tie our shoes and to hold our purchases. It's pretty good for that. :teeth:

I was going to say we just got home from BWV and there was no deacon bench and I was going to say they aren't in the studios, thanks for clarifying the dedicated studios have them.

When we have a dedicated studio (which we've ALWAYS had until this last trip), we also use the deacon bench for tying shoes, putting our sacks and our park bag on. It is an EXCELLENT resource for those projects! :thumbsup2

It's about crib sized. My son hated it when we had one and he was about six.
