boardwalk slide closed in january

we received a letter today stating that during our jan 14th thru the 19th stay the boardwalk slide will be closed. during our trip we can pool hop to sab.that is great news as we will have a total of 16 in our party, most have not had the chance to use sab.

I just got off the phone with Disney Vacation Club (which we are members) and they confirmed that the Boardwalk Keister closed will be closed until Jan. 23rd, 2007. She said it will reopen on Jan. 24th. With your room key for the Boardwalk anyone can use Storm ALong Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club since the Keister Coaster slide will be closed. It does not matter if you are a DVC member or not, but do be prepared to have them check your room key/ID for this priviledge. We are paying cash for our BWV so did not receive a letter from DVC as some have stated, but I did verify this information today at 2 PM Eastern Time.
