Do any of the rooms overlook the actual boardwalk? And if so, do you hear alot of the outside noise in the room?

If you were looking for a quiet room, what area of the hotel should you request?

I have had both a BW and quiet view. The Bw view rooms are great for people watching. Once your doors are closed it was never noisy. My son had a room near the ESPN Club during baseball playoffsand they did hear some cheering. My quiet view room was of the cottage suites and the quiet pool. We were able to watch the high fireworks from Illuminations. My quiet view room # was 4232 and BW view rooms were 4227, 4229 and 4225. These rooms were on the concierge level but I am sure the rooms #s correspond with the lower floors and the 5th floor.

We had a boardwalk view when we stayed at BWV in October. We did hear a bit of noise in the wee hours when people were leaving Jellyrolls and the other clubs. The noise only lasted for a few minutes and we were able to get right back to sleep.

Just don't take 4291, 4293, 4295, 4297 and so on, we had a view of the roof to the covered walkway to the bus stop. I had to stand on a chair to see over it or lay on the ground to see under it. It was very frustrating. It was Christmas week, so I'm sure they were fully booked so we didn't complain. The room was quiet, only heard a group of people one night when they were waiting to get there cars from the valet at 2:00 am.

Even worse is a room on the second floor facing the walkway itself. We stayed there 1 night and our room was there. People were walking by all the time, our balcony was directly next to it. Can't remember the room #. We moved to BWV the next day, so I didn't request a change.

For a boardwalk view, you would have to book a water view. For a standard view, a good room to request is an epcot view in the courtyard.

We had a room right above flying fish. Third floor i think. Never heard a thing.

Hi DebbieB

I know I was thinking while I was there that the room you must have been in would have been worse than what we had, that was one of the reasons we didn't complain. Were you ground level to the walkway?

First pix is courtyard view 4256. Second pix is Boardwalk view 4259. Both were lovely and quiet although in the Boardwalk view room you can hear the Friendship boat horns..... :cloud9:

Those are great pictures! I stayed at the Inn once with my family and nephews. We couldn't hear the noise at all!

BWGirl, thank you for the compliment. Those pixs were actually taken with an inexpensive digital and I was experimenting not using a flash. We had wanted a Boardwalk view king room and they didn't have one at check in so we took Room 4256. It was just so beautiful but DH loves to hear and watch the boats so next day we moved to Room 4259. It was right on the corner above the flying fish. For both pixs, I was steadying myself on the railing of the balcony. I must have taken 2 dozen pictures of the same thing and have since bored my family to tears with them. For me, each time I see them.....I'M THERE! Ahhhhhh....
