Boardwalk Renovations

We had lunch at Big River Grill on Friday before we left (stayed at OKW), I noticed that they were taking down the remaining construction walls from in front of the store. So there is no construction on the Boardwalk side now. We went back to the Luna Park pool, they have the left side of the rooms as you enter scaffolded and covered. Nothing on the standard view side, I didn't check the quiet pool area.

They were doing the Quiet Pool area last fall--just saw some recent pictures of it and it looks fabulous! Are the areas you mentioned WITHOUT scaffolding done or waiting to be done?

The standard view side still needs to be done. They have taken down the awnings, you can see the paint is faded. We have a standard view reservation for December, I wonder if it will be affected (I requested mid-way down the hall). The Boardwalk side looks nice.

Here's the construction info from the latest VM (now posted on the member site).

We’ve finished the improvements near the Grand
Villas, which are again available. Enhancements
on the area surrounding the Villa quiet pool are
also complete. Work has begun on the building
elevations facing the Luna Park Pool; the pool
area, Keister Coaster, and Leaping Horse Libations
are unaffected by this work, and are open for your
enjoyment. Improvements are also underway near
Big River Grille & Brewing Works; the restaurant
will remain open for lunch and dinner, with
outside seating available only in the evening.
Please note that some rooms will not be available
during our resort enhancement project.
