Boardwalk Refurbishment

Hi everyone! So my family and I are booked for a week at the Boardwalk next May. First time at that resort, first time renting DVC. We are super beyond excited.
I've seen that it was announced that the refurbishment for the villas side should hopefully start this Fall and wrap up next Spring. We have booked a garden/pool view, and my question to those who know DVC and their track record with refurbs is, do you think we will have a chance at a new room then? I'm genuinely curious! I've heard that they do those rooms in sections I think, I'm not really sure about any of it lol. I'd love to hear your opinions on this and the refurbishment! Thank you!! Have a magical day.

A large percentage of villas at Boardwalk are pool/garden view. Many, if not all, of those rooms should be done by that time. Enjoy!
