I am going to BWV to stay in a studio this Friday. I will ask the front desk about the missing sinks and how many rooms are missing it. This is one of our favorite places to stay and I don’t want to have one of those rooms again in the future. So weird!
I guess I don't understand why they are getting rid of the jetted tubs. Somebody mentioned they were harder to clean but that doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like somebody has to go in and clean out all the jets.
The tub sucks the water in and pushes it out through the jets. Along with hair, skin, scabs, dirty and anything else on the user. Not everything gets pushed out and settles in the lines. Next user gets some of that in their tub water.

There are various types of HA rooms, so maybe this was one of the variants. I would imagine the extra space taken by the grab bars around the toilet might have meant that there wasn’t space for the sink.
Even if you don’t reserve an HA villa, it’s possible to be assigned one.

The room in question is a 1BR. Your studio won’t be affected.
I understand that I won’t be affected this trip in a studio, but I’d like to know if there are many of these (we know of 2 for now) because I don’t want to be assigned one in the future since we stay in 2brs there frequently. I’m also curious as to why they did it (they probably won’t have an answer to that).

I suspect those villas are HA villas and that the lack of that sink allows space for the grab bars and maneuvering room for a wheelchair or other mobility device around the toilet.
And it’s always possible to be assigned a HA room, even if we didn’t reserve one. That’s true for all Disney resorts. If HA is the only one available for a guest, they’ll be assigned to it.
