I just saw photos of a refurbished 1 Bedroom at BWV on All Ears.net, and it looked like there are huge changes to the Master Bath. No jacuzzi just a standard bath located where the vanity used to be. Vanity appeared to be where the walk-in closet used to be. Couldn’t see where the big closet had been relocated as the folding shades over the jacuzzi have been replaced with just a blank wall. Has anyone stayed in a one bed and got any videos of this? Looks very radical to me and not sure it’s an improvement. Tiling and decor looks very uninspiring!

We were there 2 weeks ago in a refurb room. The tub is where it used to be, now just a non-jetted one & there is a full wall where the folding doors used to be...other than that, it's the same basic setup....

They didn’t go with the air bubble tub they put into Copper Creek? I haven’t really paid attention to the refurbs and new builds after CCV if they had the air tubs.

I think they’ve been putting in plain soaker tubs. Much easier and faster to clean between guests! And I’m in favor of anything that reduces housekeeping costs and makes for fewer complaints about dirty jets or bubbler mechanisms.

Stayed in a renovated 2 bedroom at BWV last night. New tub. In same spot it always was. New vanities. New floors. New countertops. We liked the changes. Much more modern looking.

I’m actually pretty bummed about the folding shades being replaced with a wall. My fave was soaking and watching Chopped to unwind 😭

Looking forward to seeing all the changes when we go in October! I hated those folding shades, so very glad they're gone. I totally understand why they're getting rid of jetted tubs, but I will miss them very, very much.

In the 1br, they took out the sink in the toilet/shower room so you either had to go to the bedroom vanity sink to wash your hands, or the kitchen! Was odd for the guests staying in the living room. Just a big space where the sink used to be. Very strange! Not sure if it was only this room, or all 1br (we were in room 2115)

I have not seen this reported before. How very odd! I wonder how many other rooms have this configuration. Isn't 2115 a standard view one bedroom? I was in a refurbished stand view one bedroom in May and we still had that sink.

It indeed is a standard. I am relieved to hear that maybe it’s an anomaly. We couldn’t believe that they would take out the sink!

I guess I don't understand why they are getting rid of the jetted tubs. Somebody mentioned they were harder to clean but that doesn't make any sense to me. It's not like somebody has to go in and clean out all the jets.

I've been in refurbed rooms at Boardwalk 3 times now - they've been preferred/garden view - but all had the second sink on the toilet/shower side. That sounds like an anomaly for that room you were in.

Probably more from a maintenance issue and replacement cost. Though I would NEVER take a bath in a hotel tub unless I cleaned it with bleach first.

We just got back last week. We were in room 2114 and it also had the second sink removed from the toilet/shower room.

oh my, we have a 1 bedroom standard booked for Oct, our usual booking, and a little worried about this.
So, it's just a big empty space there?
