Boardwalk Refillable Mugs

Staying at the Boardwalk this December for the first time...So Excited. We are getting the refillable mugs with the dining plan. Where can you get these refilled as their is no real counter service option. Also, I read that you don't actually get the drink in the mug but a plastic cup for sanitary reasons. So my question is do I need to bring the mug with me or can you bring some sort of a receipt. Thanks for you help

I know you can have them refilled at the Boardwalk Bakery and Seashore Sweets, in the morning at the Bellevue Lounge (don't know about the rest of the day) and I think at the pool.
