Boardwalk pool

I was just sifting through the Information Thread, but decided to post a direct question instead. Does the Boardwalk pool have a sandy area for the kids to play? Our twins will be 2-1/2 when we go -- does anybody have experience with that age at Boardwalk pool?

There is no sandy part that I remember at boardwalk that i recall but I am DVC and maybe there's something on the Inn side I've never seen.

We just got back from our 3rd stay at the Boardwalk.... no sandy area.

When we were at BW, DS was 19 months, I dont remember a sandy area by the pool

No sandy area, but very shallow entry. There is also a kiddie pool.

Thank you everyone for responding so quickly. I'm trying not to let the sand affect my decision on where to stay, but SAB keeps slipping back into my mind. We just stayed at BC last month and our girls loved playing in the sandy pool.

No sandy area but a nice kiddie pool with a playground right next to it.

Also keep in mind that altghough the slide is the coolest on property, it is a hike up to the top, and the water current at the bottom of that slide was STRONG!! my 6 year old (who is a good swimmer), had a tough time with it at 1st. no sand an playground was hot.
