Last night I received a call from member services regarding my stay in November. During conversation I politely complained about parking problems at Boardwalk. The rep stated that "there is a DVC parking lot entrance only available to DVC". I believe this is NOT true unless he is talking about the HESS station across the street.

To further reduce his credibility he said that there is no noise problem, "just moving furniture around". Has anyone noticed a special parking lot entrance for DVC?

My guess is someone needs a little more training.

Who knows who called you, most MS advisors would have little knowledge of what's going on at the resorts.

It reminds me of our first BLT stay. At check in I asked if we were assigned a room in the area that we requested and I was told yes. The room wasn't ready so the CM wouldn't give us the room number. I asked for her to circle the area on the map and she circled an area opposite of our request. I brought it to her attention and she confessed that she thought that the room assigned was close to our request but she had never been inside BLT and only knew about the resort based on what other CM's and guests had told her.

I can see if they are restricting parking to only resort guests, but not specifically to DVC. I saw a post about 3 weeks ago that they were restricting entrance to the main lots to resort guests and valet parking.

There is no special DVC parking lot at BWV. However, you can park across from the bus stop / convention center if you can find a space. This lot is closest to the resort. If not you are in the lot below the valet parking.

I have been there when that lot was only open for convention attendees. BWV is the only resort where we use our handicap tag for free valet parking.

I was there on evening of Friday 10/9, not staying at BW. We wanted to just visit for a little while, showed the guard our license and DVC members card and he directed us to the self park lot across from the convention center and gave us a password to tell another CM that was controlling access to that lot.
