We are going for a quick MNSSHP trip next week......on our arrival night Wednesday - I was thinking of checking in and then heading out to et either at ESPN or DTD somewhere....which place will have a more Halloween atmosphere....or more things going on?

As of last week, neither DTD or BW had a Halloween feel. There are great restaurants at both, but I wouldn't go there expecting a Halloween experience. EXCEPT if you are going on the 31st....supposedly DTD is packed with trick-or-treaters that night.

Both usually do something on Halloween night...but the decorations aren't set up until Halloween afternoon...then taken down directly....I've only been to the Boardwalk so that would be my vote....but the candy sucked....foiled eye balls mostly...

We went at Halloween last year. Neither will have a Halloween atmosphere prior to Halloween.

I havent been there but I would got to the Boardwalk-

We just came back last week and ended our trip with DTD and wish we didnt.
We tried to get to the boardwalk but there wasnt enough time!
I dont know why we went to DTD but my husband couldnt wait to get out of there. I imagine the Boardwalk has more of a "Disney" feel. Walking through Pleasure Island bleah- please know we have a 1 yrd old and a 7 yr old.

Have fun!

In the past we never found that much to do on the Boardwalk. It took us all of 30 minutes to walk from one end to the other. There are more performers out on the weekends though. And you can rent surrey bikes which are fun.

DTD is great for LOTS of restaurants, and a wider variety of shopping.

My personal favorite is DTD. I have never been blown away with the Boardwalk. I would not however, take the kids to Pleasure Island.

Couldn't get MNSSHP for the 31st- is our best bet Downtown Disney or Boardwalk for a 5 year old????

Please advise if you know of any halloween things going on-
Thanks!
