Boardwalk or AKL

Here is the situation. DW,DD9,DD5 SIL, Son 7. Heading down for March 2016. I have booked them into the Poly studio for the first 3 nights, but then have to decide between BW studio, or AKL 1 bdrm.
Looking for peoples pros and cons. I know there is about a 60 point spread between the two, but not worried about the points.

AKL 1 bedroom! Extra room space, extra bathroom space...especially with 3 women, very kid centered.

I know this was not on your list but I would choose a 1 BR at Boardwalk. There is nothing like being able to walk (or boat) to 2 parks.

But for 5 people, a 1bd/2bath might make more sense. Have you looked at BLT 1bds? They are huge.

I would be swayed to go with the one bedroom at AKL, sure its not walk-able to the parks but its got great atmosphere- the boys would probably love having all the animals about and taking part in things like the night vision viewings that the resort offers every evening. If you're planning on spending a day just at the resort, the activity schedule at AKL has a ton of stuff on offer to keep kids busy. Also the one bedroom would provide you with more space to accommodate everyone. I've only ever visited Boardwalk and it is amazing but AKL is my hands down favorite.

We stayed in a 2bd at AKL in sept 2014. And we loved it! AKL is awesome. Yes it's a little further out but the pool area is nice, rooms are nice sizes and theme is great. We stayed at a BW studio in 2013. Was nice but felt cramped with just 2 of us

It wasnt on the list because you can fit 5 in the new studios, but they did not do the same to the 1bdrm, so only 4. Unless someone can tell me different.

Yah, I think BWV 1 bds studio only for 4 ppl. Love love that location, but a 1bd with 2 baths at AKL might be more comfortable (albeit less convenient) than the BWV studio. Depends on their priority. Have fun!!!

We are owners at both locations so I love both resorts very much, but I would go with the 1BR at AKV. After sharing a studio with five people for three days, it will feel really nice to spread out a bit. Plus, that would probably be a good point in the trip to catch up on a bit of laundry, which you would not be able to do as easily in the studio.

AKV Jambo House 1-bedrooms have 1 bathroom
AKV Kidani Village 1-bedrooms have 2 bathrooms

If it is at Kidani, definitely the 1 bedroom for the extra bathroom and space. AKL is a must for kids if they have never stayed there. So much to do just at the resort, great activities and learning. The animals outside your window!! Make sure to do the night vision goggles. BW is great but it will be small. Might want more space after a studio. Laundry in room is a huge bonus with kids.
