I've looked high and low for photos of a one-bedroom suite at BWI. My sister booked the room reservation and told me it was for a "one bedroom suite" but I can only find garden suite and cottage suites. Can someone clarify the difference between the suites?

Are there photos of the one bedroom suite? I thought I looked, but it is past my bedtime so it is entirely possible I overlooked something :rolleyes1

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Perhaps she meant the 1 bedroom Villa? They are DVC properties that can also be booked thro disney.

Boardwalk Inn has 1 and 2 bedroom suites. They are different than the one-bedroom villas on the Boardwalk Disney Vacation Club side of the resort.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at Boarwalk Inn. It had two bedrooms, a living room and three bathrooms. The master bathroom had a marble jacuzzi tub. The other bathrooms were marble, too.

The suite bedrooms were decorated the same as other rooms at Boardwalk Inn (which is to say much more luxuriously than the rooms on the Vacation Club side). The suite living room had a table and chairs, sofa, tv and wet bar area.

There are a couple of over the top suites at BWI -- Presidential, etc. We did not have one of those. Ours was a large version of the other hotel rooms.
Unless you are booked in the Presidential suite, you room will look similar to the other BWI hotel rooms -- just bigger.

I just asked her what she booked and she said "I don't know. I just know there is a room and a separate bedroom". So that doesn't help! LOL! Thank you guys for the info. I guess I'll just have to figure it out when we get there.

You probably have a 1 BR villa. There's a TON of photos of those on AllEars.net. We've stayed in them a few times, very nice, most have balconies and overlook the "back side" the Boardwalk, not the front part of the boardwalk area.

It might seem separate because of how you can choose the rooms on WDW's website, but they are the same rooms. After DVC members get their first pick when their window of booking opens, the rooms become available to the general public. That's a villa, and you can find the photos here:
