Do you still have to ask cm at the pool for cup refills?

Do you need to go to the bar asking a person to refill your refillable mug or is there a station? Is boardwalk the only deluxe hotel where you have to ask the bartender if you need a refill? I remember that kidani pool might have the same (stand in line, ask the bartender, feel very ashamed if not tipping)? I prefer the refillstations (like poly and bcv)!

I was there a few weeks ago and I did not see a refill station at the BW pool (although we didn’t have the refillable mugs so I wasn’t particularly looking either).

I really wish they would put a refill station in the pool area. It is very uncomfortable to ask the people behind
the bar to refill mugs and they never look very happy about it. I also wish they would put one in the Bellevue Lounge area.

It's really irritating that the only place to refill is at the Boardwalk Deli. It's why we don't get the mugs when we stay at BWV.

I would have never thought to ask a bartender for a refill. Is this a thing?

At most resorts, no, because there are convenient refill stations. I believe the only two locations at BW to get a refill for the resort refillable mugs are the Boardwalk Deli and the pool bar, but you do have to ask the bartender to refill the mug at the pool bar. I can understand how that's awkward - if you're at the pool over several hours asking for multiple refills, one might feel compelled to tip, especially if they're busy filing orders from people paying for drinks/food who likely will be tipping. And, most people buy the resort refillable mug specifically to get endless free refills during their stay, so if you feel like you need to tip, maybe it doesn't feel worth it anymore.

Interesting! I don't stay at Boardwalk, so I had no idea. I'm usually a MK resort person (and there are lots of refill stations at those resorts). I would definitely throw the bartender a few dollars if I were asking them to refill my mug.
