Has anyone been there lately? Do they have fridges in all the rooms yet?
Can you still get a continental Breakfast at the Bellevue lounge? And do all the rooms have a daybed? We need one!
Thanks :flower:

Hi. We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn the second week of June. Yes, they have continental style breakfast items in the Bellevue Lounge. Donuts, pastries, cereal, and some fruit, coffee, juice etc. The rooms do all have complimentary refrigerators. Our room had a daybed but we are a family of 5 so they knew we needed one. I had a choice of rooms when we checked in so my guess is that the majority (if not all) have them but I'd put the request in with your reservation. Any other questions feel free to ask. We absolutely loved the BWI.

Hi , we will be at BWI the Week of Aug 7. Is the continental breakfast for concierge or all guests?

There is a concierge lounge for concierge guests, but the Bellevue Lounge is a different lounge/bar which sells continental-style breakfast items to all guests

Thank you Rafikifan! I'll ask the TA to request a day bed. Any recommendations on a good location for a standard room? I'd like something convenient to either the lobby or elevator with a balcony and not a view of the trash compactor! I read through the Boardwalk Information thread but couldn't get a feel for desirable standard rooms. Thanks!

We had room (standard) 4278 a couple of weeks ago and it was great! We ovelooked a quiet courtyard and we were facing Epcot. We found out on our first night that we could see the fireworks from Illuminations right from our beds!!!!
This room was also close to the elevator. Overall we were very satisfied and would love to stay in that room again.

I don't think there are views of the trash compactor but some of the standard rooms face the valet entrance, bus stop and driveway. I would request a courtyard Epcot view (which is also standard),as the previous post said.

I've seen pics of a room with a King bed. There was no daybed in this room. It had sort of a "lounge" chair instead.

teentoddlermom, we were in room 3270. When we checked in at 11 a.m. I very nicely asked if we could get a view of anything other than the parking lot/entrance. She told me they had a room ready that was a garden view or if I wanted to wait there was going to be one ready with a pool and garden view. I opted to take the room that was ready and it was perfect. I normally don't spend much time on the balcony but I did every morning while the rest of the family was waking up and dh and I sat out at night with a glass of wine looking at the Eiffel Tower. The gardens below are so nice to look at also. I can't tell you how quiet and peaceful it was. And we had a very short walk to the elevators. I was a little surprised to get such a nice location since we got an email/pin discount on the room. Still a bit expensive but worth it. We like to try different resorts and were thinking of the AKL or Poly next but I think our hearts are going to lead us back to the BWI.
