I we are thinking of staying at the boardwalk Inn.Can you tell me what is the difference in the Inn and the Villas? Do we get maid service? also what about the pools? Can we swim in all pools at the Boardwalk?

Thank You

The BWInn and the BWVillas share their lobby and guests at either have access to the recreational facilities located on either side of the complex. The Inn is a conventional deluxe hotel offering guest rooms and some suites while the Villas offer studio (with wet bar and refrigerator), and 1-BR, 2-BR, and 3-BR timeshare accommodations (all with whirlpool-tubbed master baths, full kitchens, and in-unit washer and dryer) managed as part of the Disney Vacation Club. These are available for cash reservations on a space available basis. Inn rooms receive conventional housekeeping (maid) service, as do guests staying on cash reservations in the Villas. DVC guests have a different arrangement for housekeeping services.

Guests at the Inn and Villas share access to three pools. Luna Park is the large, themed pool with water slide and other amenities. It is located in the villas area, a short walk from the inn side of the building. There are two "quiet" pools, one in the villas area and the other in the inn area. There is also a game room and a fitness center (fee charged for inn guests to use the fitness center). The BelleVue Room is located adjacent to the lobby on the inn side of the complex. It offers continental breakfast selections for purchase in the morning, beer, wine, and cocktails after 5 pm each day, and a pleasant, homey lounge area all day long. There is a gift shop located adjacent to the lobby on the villas side of the building and the BoardWalk itself has many shops, restaurants, and recreational options.

Ummm...not trying to be picky, since you did fix the title once already, but it's BOARDwalk, not BROADwalk.

I got an AP rate for BWI for the night before we checked into BWV last December ($169 I think). The room was very nice, it's layout is like Beach Club with a chest of drawers next to the door. The only problem was that we got there late in the afternoon and all that was left for standard view was next to the walkway to the bus stop. I should have made a request for an upper floor, I just requested non-smoking. We might do it again this December if it's hard to get Saturday flights (we had to fly on Friday to get FF tickets).
