Has anyone stayed in the BI villas? Right now we (me, DH DS 17 and DD 13) are booked at the Swan but with the summer rates it looks like a studio won't be much difference in price. I understand that there is one queen bed and a double sofa bed. How comfortable are they? Any advice is most helpful!

Thanks.:wizard:

Most of the sofa bed are brand new and very comfortable. I've slept on one and it was comfy.
If I had a choice between the Swan and a studio at BW, I'd jump over to BW in a heartbeat.

We stayed in a one bedroom villa last November........WE LOVED IT! Now we are spoiled and will hate going back to a regular hotel room. It was so spacious. It really felt like home at the end of the day. I love getting up and making coffee and relaxing before we hit the parks. The bathroom and dressing area is huge with so much space. Our balcony from the living room connected to the one in the bedroom. When I first walked in I was so surprised to find 2 balconys.....the little things in life that make us happy. A full kitchen, microwave, stove & full refrigerator (instead of the tiny little one in regular rooms or the days of taking junk out of the minibar to place a few small bottles of wine or soda).....It is so worth the money and we would do it again.......:cutie:

WOW! You make me want to stay in a one bedroom. We are looking at one of the studios!

The BW is Disney owned and operated, the Swan is not! While the Swan is a lovely hotel, there is a difference. For one, you can't utilize the ME if you stay at the Swan and that is a great feature. I love getting off the plane and not worrying about lugging the luggage!

Watch out though if you do stay at the BWV! We stayed in a two bedroom villa last summer and we loved it so much that we bought DVC....I think this is a commom experience! One you see those villas, you'll always want to stay in one.

Have fun planning!:wizard:

I own DVC at the BWV, so I am biased, but I would jump on it! I layed down with my dd on the sofa sleeper and it was really comfy! Another consideration is that at the Swan, I don't believe you can charge around the world with your room card, that is a huge issue for us.

Just to clarify - there are two different locations at the Boardwalk - the Boardwalk Inn and the Boardwalk Villas (a Disney Vacation Club Resort). The villas are located on the side closer to Disney Studios and the inn is located on the side closer to Epcot.
