We are thinking of doing something different from are usual AKL trip. We still may be doing it, just looking at different options as I will be graduating college December 2008.

Very active Mother/Daughter team trip.

Would be doing MVMCP/MGM/Epcot.

How easy would it be to do our Epcot rides in the morning, take a bit of a break and do MVMCP? Has anyone done this type of thing?

Would it be easier driving to MGM or taking the walkway?

I'm kind of excited about all the different food options/things to do at night as well. How active is the Boardwalk? Can we see Illuminations?

If we were to book a Water view, how probable would it be that we would get a Boardwalk view?

Thanks everyone!

Dear
I am a DVC member and our family has stayed at the BWV’s twice and the BCV’s once
These resorts are considered Epcot resorts because of there proximity to Epcot.

How easy would it be to do our Epcot rides in the morning, take a bit of a break and do MVMCP? Has anyone done this type of thing?
Its very easy , We plan our trips for October and do MNSSHP

Would it be easier driving to MGM or taking the walkway?
The Best way to get to MGM is by boat it picks you up right in front of either the BWV or BCV.

I'm kind of excited about all the different food options/things to do at night as well. How active is the Boardwalk? Can we see Illuminations?
The BoardWalk is active and fun although its not something you will want to do every night. You can see only the upper fireworks, its not something you will want to watch from that area. You really need a good spot to watch it.

If we were to book a Water view, how probable would it be that we would get a Boardwalk view?
If you book a water view you will get it.

I am sending you a Pm with some additional information

Good Luck
Cyril

We have stayed at the BW many times and the location really can't be beat! I see no problem with going to Epcot in the morning and then heading over to do MVMCP in the evening. Remember they will let you into MVMCP at 4pm even though it runs from 7pm-12am. You could go directly from Epcot to MK using the monorail, or if you head back to your room for a break you would be better off taking the bus directly to the MK. It is so easy to get to MGM from the BW. There is a walkway and it takes us no more than 10-15 minutes with 2 small kids in tow! We always walk there faster than it takes the ferry! The ferry will go to YC/BC, Swan?Dolphin, then onto MGM. Much faster to walk. The BW at night really comes alive! There are street performers, BW style games, hair wraps, face painting, surrey bike rentals, shopping, ice cream shop. So much fun! You can see the upper fireworks from Illuminations, but to see the whole show you have to go into Epcot. I am also a DVC member and for us we can book either a standard view, water view, or BW view. I don't remember how it works for the BWI. Last time we stood at the BWI we booked a standard view room and had an awesome view of Epcot and the Eiffel Tower from the WS.
