Anbody know how the Thundering Surf Peanut Butter and Chocolate Sundae from Boardwalk Ice Cream compares to the No Way Jose sundae at Beaches and Cream? I'd prefer to go to Beaches and Cream but no luck finding a reservation.

Beaches & Cream has a walk-up/to go window. I’m not sure if the exact menu though. I know it has ice cream, some sundaes and some shakes, but not the full menu from inside. I’m sure someone could post of pic or info about the current window offerings.

Did the re open take out window? Last April it was closed. Reservations only.

From what I saw online, I believe it reopened sometime in the summer (maybe July??).

I’d post this question on the YC & BC thread over on the Resorts page. Lots of knowledgeable frequent YC/BC visitors there who have been recently and can give you the most updated information.

Boardwalk Ice Cream is great but we love Beaches and Cream the whole atmosphere there is great, although since the renovation its not as quaint..

I can confirm take out window was open in December 2021.
I haven’t ordered the Thundering Surf but I did get a different sundae from Boardwalk and it was fabulous.
I think you should order both on your next trip and let us know what you think :)

The next time I get down there, I might do an Ep area ice cream crawl. The Fountain should definitely be in this group. It's RIGHT there.

Mmmmmm…No Way Jose! Thank you for the yummy thought!

Looking forward to trying Boardwalk Ice Cream. Enjoyed Beaches and Cream in the past, but didn't think it was really anything special unless you had a large group to get one of their specialty ice cream combinations. Thought Ample Hills was much better, but sadly no longer there. Loved their homemade flavors. Expecting Boardwalk to be more like Beaches and Cream than Ample Hills.

My son got a No Way Jose sundae from the Beaches and Cream walk up window back in Dec. It's not on the posted menu, but when he asked if he could get it there, the CM said "of course" :) . I think you can get pretty much any of the ice cream options at the window (well, probably not the kitchen sink) regardless of what the menu says.
