Boardwalk Dining Question

Hi there,

I haven't been able to find this information anywhere but is there no cafeteria type set-up for breakfast at the BWI? I have seen the list of restaurants and dining options but I am looking for somewhere to get breakfast each morning that serves the usual breakfast things (breakfast sandwiches, mickey waffles etc) that isn't a sit down restaurant.

The Boardwalk Bakery and the super quiet Belle Vue Lounge (on the way to the bus, or out the door to DHS/Epcot!) serve continental breakfast items. The Boardwalk Bakery used to offer breakfast sandwiches, but I'm not sure of the current situation because it's been several months since our last stay.

For cafeteria-style full breakfast, Picabu at the Dolphin is a short walk - it takes us about 10 minutes. When we're going to Epcot for the day, we like to stop at Les Halles in France for breakfast (open before World Showcase opens at 11, at least it has been in our experience.) According to the WDW website, Ale and Compass in the YC lobby is now serving Mickey Waffles along with a breakfast sandwich, so that's another option.

Wait! What???

I haven't heard that but must now check that out. That would be huge news!



ETA: We have had confirmation from someone who got both the Mickey Waffles with bacon and Breakfast Wrap last weekend.
