We booked nine months out for our just completed trip. They only had preferred view left so I asked if they had the BW view and since they did, we grabbed it. If you have to pay the points, it doesn't get any better than that view!

Actually, we'll be at the world from May 10th through the 23rd, so she can get her WPE pizza then too.

We'll be at Saratoga, so she can walk over to DTD and get a Pizza whenever she wants.

I don't know the tease. But if WP's Express came to the BW. Oh, heaven!! Heck, I'll think I'll email that suggestion. We all want CS at the BW. What a CS!

I've finally used a booking window! And we are going NYE's week in a BW view studio. Can't wait.

like upper floor vs lower?
I believe last time I was right above Big River Grill - is upper better?

2nd floor is convenient but upper floors have slightly better fireworks views. Rooms farthest from the elevators (-001, -003, -005, etc) actually have the best views of Illuminations. Many 2nd floor balconies have solid walls rather than slats, so you need to stand up to actually see the activities on the BW. Many 2nd floor balconies are also larger than the slat type and offer some privacy to those who like to be in pajamas. Some people have reported lower floor rooms to be bothered by noise on the BW. We have found that closing the balcony doors and the drapes makes a lot of difference in noise.

The Wolfgang Puck story comes from a recent trip I took to Minneapolis. While wandering around the Mall of America, I found the WPE on the first floor. The last day while there, the local DVC folks had a get together at the MOA and I got a pizza from WPE for lunch. One of the other folks took some pictures of me in front of the store, and while eating, so I could make my wife jealous. She loves WP Pizza!

We own at OKW & SSR, but after staying at BW with a BWView it was all over for any of the other resorts. As much as I like all the resorts, we love the view.

We stayed at BWV - Boardwalk view last October.
Finally used the extra points for the view it was fab. You will enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the fireworks and the Boardwalk activities.
Loved it !
