How is this place? I havent seen any mention of it but saw the menu on allears. We are looking to go to the Boardwalk one evening after Epcot so looking to see if we should eat in Epcot 1st or try a place at BW. My husband did not care for the menu at Flying Fish so just looking at other options. Thanks!

We loved our meal there on our last visit. The service was wonderful and the food was excellent. DH enjoyed doing the beer flight.

Remember that you can not make an ADR for this restaurant, so there may be a significant wait during certain times.

You can "call ahead" if you call them directly. They do not take reservations through Disney.

Not sure how soon you need to do this. But it is not six months ahead.

We have not been impressed with this restaurant. What type of food are you interested in?

They must have changed their policy then, which is good news!

We were not able to call ahead at all when we went. It was strictly walk-ups only.

Big River is our traditional arrival lunch when we stay at BWV. Their burgers are excellent! We were there 3 weeks ago and we laughed when the waitress asked if we knew what we wanted! Oh ya, we've been dreaming of this for months! We love to sit outside and just take in everything! Wish I was there now at the beginning of a trip!

Not looking for anything fancy that night, basic American food (burgers etc)....just a place to sit and have a good dinner. We have 2 kids, 7 and 8 so kid friendly is a plus.

It is very kid friendly - it is typical american fare. The actual restaurant is kind of small - so be sure to specify if you want an indoor or outdoor table.

But the inside restaurant is kinda noisy due to the decor - so kids should be no problem - even if they are wild and loud. Obviously outside is already bustling from the boardwalk so kids will be right at home there.

We enjoy this restaurant very much - we had our pre-wedding meal with all of our guests there and had a blast. None of the food is super fancy and DH is by no means a foodie and he loves it.

We called them directly tonight and made reservations for January! I can't wait. We haven't eaten there since 1997!

Glad I read this thread, needed to find something for the first day we arrive and we wanted to eat at the Boardwalk, Big River Grille sounds good...spending Christmas at Disney this year with our son (a Coastie on the USCG Confidence). Can anyone tell me about Jellyrolls? Thought about drinks there afterwards. Are under 21 allowed in with their parents? My daughter will be with us and she's only 18.

I love this place. The burgers are good. And the Hazelnut Crusted Chicken is great.

i get the nachos yummmy... then the steak and shrimp.... the shrimp are delicious!!

we had a great meal here, and df loves the blueberry beer!

They are on the DDP, 1 TS credit,
They just are not part of the Disney Reservation system. You have to call the restaurant directly, at the number listed above

I looked at the menu and there was no vegetarian entrees. Does anyone know if they have a veggie burger?
