Boardwalk Bakery

What is the Boardwalk Bakery like inside? Are there places to sit? And what types of baked good are offered?

Also, anyone know what time they open?

BB is pretty small. There aren't any places to eat inside, but there are some tables outside on the boardwalk.

They have danishes, donuts, bagels, muffins, cakes... there are pictures on the food porn thread somewhere in page 44/45.

Not sure when they open, but I've been there at 7:00am and they were open already.

The Boardwalk Bakery serves wonderful baked goodies. The inside is 99 percent bakery (work area) and the tiniest little area for ordering your treat that I have ever seen. There are tables in front on the Boardwalk. The front of the bakery is all windows so one can watch the bakers at work. I woke early one morning (staying at BWV) and watched through the window at about 4:30 one morning. It was a very busy place. Can't tell you what time it opens.

My husband went out for very early morning runs when we stayed at the BW.
He remembers them being open when he returned, about 6:00.
They do have alot of seating outside on the boardwalk. We went there every morning and would sit out by the water---very nice.
They also have breakfast burritos--very good.

We frequently brought things back to our room from the bakery for breakfast when we stayed at BWI. DH would go down and fill our order while we all got ready. But we did see others eating in the Belvue Lounge or up on the covered porch with the rockers and of course along the boardwalk tables and benches.

Love that place!

We have gotten in this "bad" habit of going to Spoodles our first night and then visiting the BW Bakery. We get one, usually 2 treats a piece to have in our room to nibble on. They are huge! The only problem with going in the evening is they are always out of cimmimon rolls!
